It's a Small World
It IS a small world. We went for pizza tonight and met a couple currently living in Colorado Springs (Zelma's home town) having just moved there from Madison, WI (just down-the-road-sort-of from where we formerly lived).
We had a nice chat about the places we shared, and they left to continue on with their journey. Safe travels.

Prairie Blizzard
Well, now, that was some blizzard. Three days of closed interstates, howling winds and way over a foot of snow. We just finished digging out. The yard is a sea of white drifts, swirls and awesome beauty...wish I had snow shoes.
But there was an upside to this: we could knit and garden plan and artisan plan for three days also.

Christmas at the Capitol
