Interesting drive to work the other day. Roads were clear, no snow, no ice. About 6.5 miles into it, I noticed what I thought was snow blowing across the road. I'm hoping it's really a mirage, cuz I know that blowing snow can mean icy roads.
Then it dawned on me that the snow appeared to be blowing on more than just the road. There was a total white out in front of me. I'm all confused, can't see 10 feet in front of me...and then I realize what has just happened. I've driven into frozen fog.
We get lots of that around here. Most mornings we wake up to frozen fog on everything: trees, house, cars. It's beautiful. And incredibly scary stuff to drive in.
